Ironbridge Restructuring serves as a neutral stabilizer in situations where a commercial real estate operator is in distress and a lender, receiver, or other stakeholder needs careful execution at the property and entity level. We focus on Kansas and the surrounding Midwest.
What we do
Special Manager appointments.
Where loan documents or court orders authorize the appointment of a special manager or similar fiduciary, we step in to oversee operations, rents, vendors, banking, and reporting. Our posture is neutral: we act in the interest of preserving and stabilizing the asset for the benefit of all stakeholders.
Lender advisory.
We work directly with secured lenders, loan servicers, and their counsel on distressed credit situations, including collateral assessment, workout structuring, and pre-receivership planning. We do not replace counsel; we work alongside it.
Asset stabilization.
When properties need active operational oversight during a workout, we handle tenant communication, vendor coordination, insurance and utility continuity, and financial reporting. We document carefully and escalate clearly.
Creditor coordination.
Multi-creditor situations benefit from a neutral facilitator who can talk to each stakeholder candidly. We coordinate among secured lenders, unsecured creditors, tax authorities, and other parties when that coordination protects the collateral and moves the matter toward resolution.

Kansas and the Midwest. We know the local market, the local courts, the local counsel, and the local title and banking landscape. That regional knowledge matters in distressed work.
Approach.
We protect collateral, preserve operations where possible, document everything, and work closely with counsel. We are direct with counterparties and respectful of the people affected by distressed situations, including tenants, employees, and vendors. We serve the engagement, not an agenda.
Engagements.
Most of our engagements are retained directly by secured lenders or their counsel. We also accept appointments from courts and work in coordination with appointed receivers and bankruptcy trustees where our role complements theirs.
